Tim Mason (G 60-63) passed away suddenly at home on 10 December 2019. Tim enjoyed his time at Bradfield; in particular the wonderful facilities for performing the Greek plays, theatre trips and discussions, all of which nourished his interest in the arts and lead to his career choices. After leaving Bradfield Tim went to Oxford University to gain his MA, which led to his first job as Assistant Manager at the Oxford Playhouse, and kick started a life long career in the Arts.
 
Tim left Oxford to work as Assistant to Peter Daubney during the World Theatre Season at the Aldwych Theatre, the London home of the Royal Shakespeare Company. During his career Tim worked at the Ballet Rambert and the Royal Exchange Theatre Company before becoming Director of the Western Australian Arts Council, Director of the Scottish Arts Council, Chief Executive of the London Arts Board, and the Director of Museums & Galleries Commission. From 2000-2014 Tim was a Consultant for Arts & Heritage.
