Al Petrie is currently starring as the male lead role in BBC One's latest drama 'The Following Events are Based on a Pack of Lies' which aired on live TV this evening. Al Petrie is playing the role of Rob Chance, a confidence trickster who walked out on his wife, Alice (Rebekah Staton), without warning 15 years ago. Alice then sees Rob in Oxford, posing as a renowned climate scientist. The first episode follows the start of Alice's efforts to discover more about her former husband, including witnessing his attempts to woo famous author Cheryl (Marianne Jean-Baptiste). Al's character is charming and devious and this first episode certainly picqued our interest, we look forward to following the series.
