News from the College |
Horizons were very lucky to have a group of great Bradfieldians from the Class of 2017 join their panel at College in the Music Hall on Friday 10 November this year; Tiff Hurren (G 12-17), Will Stevens (G 12-17), Ben Duke (G 12-17), Megan Wilkins (K 12-17) and Tilly Gaylor (I 12-17). They spoke to the Upper Sixth about their experiences since leaving Bradfield to offer some advice about how to make the transition from school to work/university as smooth as possible.
They spoke brilliantly about their journeys thus far and whilst all doing very different things stressed the importance of communication and making the most of all the opportunities that Bradfield College has to offer.
Will Stevens joined for a second time and, as previously, he spoke very honestly about having to re-think his options after results day. Will is now Director of Product & Technology at ValStream Ltd and forging a very successful career with them.
Ben Duke studied Geography at Exeter University before taking a Masters in Real Estate at Henley Business College and is now working for Knight Frank.
Tilly Gaylor is a now Disability Analyst at Atos having studied Physiotherapy at Brighton University and working on the frontline for some of the pandemic at the Royal Berks in Reading.
Tiff Hurren is working as a Consultant for IBM having studied History at Exeter University and last, but by no means least, Megan Wilkins who worked as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant after obtaining a degree in Psychology and is now an officer in the British Army.
Next year we will be looking for volunteers who left in 2018. Please get in touch if you would like to be involved.
