There was a lot of interest among pupils and staff to 'See Inside St Andrew's on St Andrew's Day', alas spaces were limited so the 'chosen few' were selected following entry to a highly contested draw for tour places.
Sadly freshly applied plaster prevented entry through the Link Building next to Gray Schools - the main entrance for St Andrew's - however, once inside the building 'via the back door' the brilliant design of the space was evident to all, with words used to describe St Andrew’s including ‘spacious, elegant, atmospheric and light’.
Segregated collaborative and individual study spaces, a seminar room, a presentation suite and everyone's favourite - the cafe area - were all appreciated by the tourists. As was the acknowledgement that St Andrew's will be a space for all Bradfield pupils, from Faulkners to the Sixth Form and the design can accommodate the diverse needs of these years and every year in between, read more and see tour pictures ...
On St Andrew's Day we also launched a matched giving campaign, where each donation made will be matched by an anonymous donor. If you are interested in making a gift to the St Andrew's Project visit St Andrew's Matched Giving Campaign and if you have any questions, our Philanthropy Lead, Kirsty Perkinson is here to help on kperkinson@bradfieldcollege.org.uk or call 0118 964 4846
