Bradfield College Sports Complex is very pleased to announce that it has achieved the ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management Standard. ISO 45001 is an international standard for health and safety at work developed by national and international standards committees independent of government.

Over a 3 year period the Sports Complex with the support from its Health & Safety Consultant Quadriga have been completing all the necessary tasks to meet the required standards. Over the last 12 months the Sports Complex has had to carry out seven internal audits before it could apply for the external audit which was carried out by Citation ISO Certification Limited. The hard work will continue and standard internal and external audits will be carried out every 12 months.

‘ We had the external audit on the 22nd January and although we had prepared very well you never know for sure how external audits are going to go. We had great support from Quadriga our H&S consultant and all the staff recognised the importance of the standard which fundamentally was done to secure even safer work practices.’
