Handshaking 2024

Headmaster welcomes pupils back to Bradfield

Bradfield pupils gathered yesterday evening in the Greek Theatre to continue the tradition of handshaking. With 840 pupils starting Academic year 2024/25 there were a lot of tired hands afterwards!

The Headmaster encouraged pupils to make the most of everything Bradfield has to offer as they enter this new year and to embrace opportunities both academic and co-curricular.

Bradfield has had a successful summer recess in which the cohorts sitting public examination collectively achieved the highest level of results in the College's history outside the COVID years. 79% of pupils scored A* - B in the aggregated A level and IB results and 59% of GCSEs were graded A*-A. Furthermore, 90% of pupils were offered places in their first choice university destination.
