On Sunday June 6 2021 the Waifs played Shrewsbury Saracens in the Bye round of the Cricketer Cup, which had previously been postponed two weeks earlier due to poor weather conditions. It was a tense match, but the Waifs were victorious and are through to the next round. Bradfield made 204, batting for almost all their 50 overs on a slow wicket, Harry Came (D12-16) top-scoring with 48. In reply Shrewsbury Saracens fell 28 runs short after being bowled out for 176 in 44.5 overs, leaving P. Clark undefeated on 67. Oli Birts (D 10-15) took 4-37. Bradfield now travel to play Old Eastbournians next Sunday.
