We are sorry to hear of the passing of Bradfieldian John P Allday (E 53-57) on 22 March 2024. John was a keen golfer and long-time member of the Old Bradfieldian Golfing Society. His son Andrew and daugher Suki both also attended Bradfield.

Martin Young will be attending the funeral alongside other golfers and wishes to pass on the arrangements to anyone else who may like to attend from John's widow Leonie: 

“John's funeral will be held at All Saints' Church Kingston Seymour BS21 6XE at 3.30pm on Monday 8th April. If you are coming a distance and are likely to need a bite to eat before the service, don't forget it's a Monday and some places will be closed. However there are several pubs on the seafront in Clevedon and two cafe / bistros, No. 5 The Beach and Tiffin, both of which will be open (but you may need to book). 

There is a small car park at the church but it will be reserved for immediate family and disabled. There is parking at the Village Hall (opposite) and hopefully in a field - provided we don't think we'll need a tractor to pull you out! And along the lanes. There will be stewards to direct you; please just tell them if you have any mobility difficulties. 

It will be good to see you there.”
