Obituaries

It is with immense sadness that we share news of the passing last night of Jeremy Ball (E 87-92), a teacher in the Religious Studies Department, Housemaster of Stone House and latterly Tutor in Loyd House. Members of his family were with Jeremy in the hospital where he was being treated for a critical heart condition. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and Jeremy’s friends to whom we offer our sincere condolences. We also think of the many pupils and colleagues whose lives he touched in a long and distinguished career at Bradfield.

Jeremy was a much loved and admired teacher, housemaster, coach, mentor and friend to generations of pupils and an immensely loyal Bradfieldian whose life was rooted at the College as boy and man. We will pay full tribute to him over the coming weeks and know many will wish to join us in remembering him.

For now we mourn the passing of a man who enriched the lives of so many and whose strong faith will sustain us as we give thanks for his life and pray for his family.
