We are sorry to hear of the passing of John Horatio Doran (D 46-50) on January 17 2025 aged 92 years. His father Carlton Clifford Doran also attended Bradfield, and is believed to be buried in the local cemetery.
Gemma Owen shared: "John spoke very fondly of his time at Bradfield and I believe excelled in athletics and art - particularly the discus!
After Bradfield he went into National Service and then trained as an officer at Eaton Hall. He served with the Royal Berkshire Regiment.
Latterly he lived a very happy life in Dorset."
