We had a smaller, more select group this year for the Family Foursomes Golf which seems to be a feature of events post the Covid lockdown period. We even had the Headmaster lift a club for the first time in over 2 years on the First Hole!

Family pairs of both parents and pupils enjoyed an afternoon of Golf on the College Golf Course on Sunday 24 April in glorious sunshine, with some players surprising themselves with their talents. All the parents said they they had enjoyed playing on the course immensely, something the pupils are able to enjoy regularly alongside their study programmes.

Prizes at the end were awarded in the Golf Clubhouse for: Best Gross Score, Best Stableford Score as a pair, Nearest the Pin,Longest Drive and Straightest Drive with current parent Magoo Giles and his son Otis being awarded the most prizes for their play.

Thank you to Mike Goodwin who is Captain of Men's Golf at the Club this year and also supports College Golf for organising the play on the course.

We hope to get a full quota of parents and Old Bradfieldian pairs next year. The Bradfield Society will be on a mission to get some of the lady players from the College or Bradfield community out there and involved too in 2023.
