Support the College |
The late Rex Topham thrived as a pupil at Bradfield, enjoying the country setting and forming lifelong friendships whilst excelling in Maths and Art and owing to his love of Bradfield chose to leave a legacy to the College bursary fund 'Bright Futures'. Today his wife Kay and daughter Nicola visited the College and presented a couple of pictures painted by Rex whilst he was a pupil to F House, one a view from his bedroom window and the other an architectural style drawing of the College gateway. Sandy Ankers, Hillside matron, was delighted to receive the paintings and is now doing some detective work to discern exactly where the painting was composed. Kay and Nicola were then shown around the house by L6 mathematician Darryl, prior to looking around the art schools by L6 artist Imogen.
If you are interested in leaving a legacy do visit Leave a Legacy for more information or equally if you are unable to attend a formal Bradfield Society event but would like to visit the College do get in touch. In either case do call 0118 964 4840 or email bradfieldsociety@bradfieldcollege.org.uk and we would be happy to help.
Sadly we cannot accept all offers of artwork made due to space constraints and will manage this on a case by case basis.
